The Internship
Investment Analyst at inthallo
inthallo is excited to be offering a 4 week internship for up to three university students in the 1st or 2nd year of their course.
If you are innately curious and enjoy thinking about future possibilities, we want to hear from you.
introduction to the world of public equity investing
actively joining the team in group discussions, internal and external meetings (e.g. bankers, research providers and companies we invest in)
working with the other intern(s) and the broader team to complete investment research projects. Looking at industries and shifting patterns to come up with new insights.
Who we are looking for
Whilst this is a finance role in an investment fund, we would encourage anyone who is interested in the world to apply. The team's degrees range from humanities to languages and science. Investment is inherently interdisciplinary, not just for those who like finance and economics. We believe that anyone can provide unique insights and we are very keen for you to share your thoughts, opinions and experiences with us.
To apply, please send your CV and answers to the questions below to Eva Klute (Head of Operations & Philanthropy) at [email protected] by 10th April 2026. Answers should be no longer than 200 words.
What excites you about the world of investing?
Tell us about something you've learnt this year and why you found it interesting. This can be something from your degree, something you've read about, seen in a museum or learnt through individual study. All disciplines welcome.
Who or what inspires you?
- Make applications personal: Reflect on what genuinely interests and drives you, rather than tailoring your responses to what you think others want to hear. Questions and cover letters are opportunities for employers to get to know you and to let your personality shine through.
- Use your own voice:Use of AI is encouraged for research purposes but be aware of tone. Generative AI can be noticeable, especially when multiple candidates answer the same questions. Authentic responses stand out and help us connect with you as an individual.
- Address applications professionally:If a contact name is provided, use it. A touch of professionalism, such as addressing the recipient directly, demonstrates care and attention.
- Be honest about achievements:Honesty is valued over exaggeration. Highlight your accomplishments with clarity and authenticity. Consider what the cover letter asks for. We were really impressed when candidates could highlight great learnings and moments of curiosity.
- Keep CVs concise:Aim for a one-page CV that prioritizes relevant and interesting experiences. Avoid adding unnecessary details to bulk up your application.
- Use professional email addresses: Opt for a professional, personal email address, as university emails may not be accessible long-term.
